Hawk impersonates mythical Phoenix

Several thunderstorms moved through our area yesterday. Between the rain and hail, I caught this guy doing his Phoenix impersonation at the top of the dead oak on my back acres. I think he's just trying to dry out. Pardon the poor quality - the second, closer photo was taken through binoculars.
