Greetings. We had our first hawk attack a few days ago. One of my girls has two neck wounds. As this is my first injury experience, I thought she was going to die. They look bad. I have her in the house in a dog crate and I’ve been spraying vetericyn twice daily and applying Neosporin once daily. She is eating, drinking, and has laid two eggs since. Yesterday, she had some discoloration around her wound. It looked like bruising. However, today it looks darker and kind of infected. I’ll attach pictures. Any input/advice would be appreciated.

Green skin is usually bruising in chickens. Chlorhexidene or Hibiclens from a pharmacy first aid aisle can be used twice a day to clean the wound if you think it is getting infected. Then clean with water and apply the antibiotic ointment.
