[IMG] Here is the final tally:

Out of 21 eggs sent, 13 fully developed. And out of those 13 we have.....

TWELVE LIVE CHICKIES!!!! [IMG] One of the twelve is a Charlotte baby who is still in the shell, hasn't pipped the airsac yet, and isn't moving as frequently. I think that we may lose this one, but am still hoping for the best!

We did lose a Kate baby, which hatched, but had a crossbeak and a severely rough navel.

For the rest, we have some Sunny babies, a Charlotte baby, some pure BRs, I believe a Caroline baby or two, and I am not sure about the rest. I was not home for some of the hatch, and am not sure if the info was written down in my absence. It is seemingly impossible to get good pics of the lot, but I will try again here pretty quick. I work tonight, and wont be home again until tomorrow afternoon, so you may expect pics by Saturday night. I just thought I would ease your minds, even though I cannot satisfy your craving for pics yet. [IMG]

So Jordan, how many do you want? I believe that there is enough to go around. [IMG]

Wow, that's a pretty great hatch! Too bad about Kate's baby, though. I dont think she has any babies on the planet yet; that would have been the first, unless there's another one in that bunch I sent that did hatch. Great job, you guys! [IMG] Hawkeye's legacy lives on....

Awesome. ... but I think I may have Hawkeye's last babies who haven't hatched yet. What say you, Cynthia?

Isn't great that we all want Hawkeye's kids? [IMG]

Ellie, still waiting on day 22. C'mon babies... [IMG]

You guys were hatching at the same time, it turns out. Ellie, I ended up sending you another set of "emergency eggs" for your second broody right as I was sending out the last fertile eggs from Hawkeye that I was selling to BYCers. Guess it was a race to see which hatched first! So, you both have some of my sweet Hawkster's last younguns. Interesting that both sets ended up in California!

Unfortunately, we had two of Kate's eggs and the other was a late quitter. So no Kate babies. And the one left in the shell is a Charlotte baby. The other Charlotte baby is alive and fine. A lot of them hatched at night and I honestly don't know which are which cuz they are all black and blue and white fuzzy. You will die [IMG] when you see them!!

Well, whichever ones are which, they are all my darling Hawkeye's kids. Charlotte's almost always have a cute little beard, though. Thank you for helping bring more of my guy's babies into the world that wouldn't have made it otherwise! [IMG]
