NEVER! Nothing worse than smug hawks, those that know you cannot do anything to them. They sit around on their branches, waiting, defiantly chatting about you behind your back.

Eagle attacks toddler. People here say it doesn't happen. In Idaho they kill sheep and goats by knocking them off a cliff. They shoot them out there.

Hmmmm, first you can't trust a photo and now you can't trust a video. Regardless, they have attacked people before which others say never happens. A small child is certainly small enough to be prey. The second video is not a fake.

That's true, but it's also extremely rare in the wild. Generally, people that are attacked by eagles are attacked because they are too close to nests, or have the eagle in a bad situation (most often in captivity). Eagles really don't look at humans as 'prey'. People and children are far more likely to be attacked by predatory mammals, and even more likely to be harmed by dogs! Unless you deal with large raptors often, such as at a rehab center or in falconry, you have little to worry about from them in regards to your own safety or your children's. Just stay away from goshawk nests!
