I hope not, but they are often pretty active at night (who doesn't love midnight snacks?!). Unfortunately our cameras are not working at the moment because we changed our wifi system and they won't sync. :-(

I honestly don’t know what to tell you hopefully over one night they wouldn’t over eat it .

Why? Impacted crop? What are the chances? It's pitch black now, but I can go take it out still.

Have they been on straw before? If so, they will probably be fine.

Thanks. Our duckhouse is deep litter with wood shavings and then straw added daily in the winter (and spot-cleaned daily).

Update: Everyone seems okay. It's 7°F here this am (-10 with windchill), so the ducks were not excited about going out. Two of the girls were shaking their heads a little, but everyone seemed fine with fresh water and morning soup. I cleaned out all the hay and doubled down on shavings. Hopefully they will snuggle in! Thanks to everyone for your help last night!
