No I don't go out of my way to buy earthworms for my birds but I have been known to turn over large rocks for finding them.

Are The parasitic worms visible to the naked eye? I was under the impression you had to get a fecal float done to tell? Then again if they are acting healthy does it matter if they have worms?Unless I see worms in their poop, i'm not going to treat them for it.

I would not do it daily.Sure its reasonable to feed your birds a worm you find on occasion, but in context of a daily feeding?

Only large roundworms can be seen easily, the rest are too small. Some people never de-worm their birds, but those people probably haven't had routine fecals done either, so they have no way of knowing the parasitic load of their flock.Are The parasitic worms visible to the naked eye?
