Any suggestions for an alternative to HDPE? We are in the process of coop building and can’t find HDPE locally.

Lowcostmetals has a store on Ebay. They've sent me many sheets of HDPE and phenolic board. They can roll up .060 4X8 sheets and ship them in a box. It is weldable.
I use the phenolic sheets framed in wood on hinges used as awnings for coop windows that I can lower temporarily for storms but still allow ventilation.

I use it to cover the floors, nest boxes and other flat surfaces of elevated coops. It would also be great for poop boards.

Thank you!!

I love it for covering the coop floors. Clean up is so much easier. However, the birds need to spend their days outdoors so they can wear down their talons because they won't get any wear on the HDPE.

Good to know! Thank you!
