He came back to the farm but what is he?

I was orginally given this beautiful rooster when I took a friend's flock over. She was getting out of birds and had a nice asst. of birds including him. But last winter I had to rehome him and the few hens we had left due to a predator issue. The neighbor who had him since then was going to get rid of him and I could not let him go to the sale barn. So he is home!!! I have learned so much here on this forum that my mind spins. I am so gratefull to all of you from the ones to ask the questions to the ones who have the answers. I know he is a rooster but what breed? I am thinking cochin but not sure. He is about 14 inches tall!

I agree he looks like a Cochin. He's very handsome. Looks like you need a few hens now.

Oh, if you put him with barred rock hens, you could get sex linked babies, with feathered feet. I don't know if any'd be blue or not, but they'd be pretty!

I think they'd all be blue, the roosters would be blue barred.
