He didn't want chickens coop

I'm thinking Sussex as we'll. The previous owner called them Suffolk but we didn't find anything when searching.Was close enough to find images of Sussex though and that's what they look like the most.

Got a little more done but still a way to go. The local landfill was good for a few more boards and some hinges. Have a window and screen for the main opening but may need to spring for a latch. The plan is for it to tilt out with some chains.

Feed and supplies can now be put in the left side. Hope to get the main window in tomorrow.

So my plan to put a tilting window in changed to a smaller window with a vent above. Also put a small manufactured vent down low(not shown) the chickens could use it now but no success getting them to yet.

Bought a couple rolls of hardware cloth as advised on this site and closed the bottom on three sides. Only thing left before adding the chickens is a run off the back. Can't add a picture right now so will try again

Bent the wire out at the bottom as recommended and covered with dirt.

I can get the chickens to go in the new coop when I feed in there but they won't at roosting time. They are still laying and roosting in the small chicken tractor but when the run gets built I plan to feed in there and close the gate then get rid of the tractor. Any suggestions on moving them in? Lock them in for a couple of days?

Yep, then hide the chicken tractor
