He died sometime last night. I just buried him, nothing is going to get into his grave. At least I'll see him again someday (please don't get into your beleifs about heaven I am sad enough as it is).

Yes I did love him. And even though he died (not because of the treatments yoiu recomended) thank you for helping him live a few days extra. If he had gone on my knowledge he would have died that day.

:aww I am so very sorry Kurt...this often happens despite our best efforts... I am sure he was aware you were doing your best for him

If you have a bird that is doing poorly in the future:
Separate immediately to monitor their water and feed intake and give electrolytes immediately if you see them panting or if you notice a reduction or unwillingness to drink (dehydration can kill faster than the ailment)
>When you have a roo be sure to put out a NON layer feed for them as layer has too much calcium and will damage the organs and cause gout.

ya i agree w/ dlhunicorn your gonna have to montor them now. I believe it was HPAI or END, Considering he did pass pretty quickly, when your ready look these up, have some refrences on it. I'm sorry, atleast you tried
