He does stand and walk more like a runner, doesn't he? My black runner ducks (all girls) all have black bills with green or blue highlights. They are like mood rings. When their highlights are blue, they are more mellow. When greenish, they are more assertive and chatty. These highlights change over time. Fascinating. So, I am used to black runners with black bills. But what I don't know about runners and other ducks could fill an encyclopedia.

Hes def not show quality when he walks he kinda walk runnerish. Lol my fawn and white runner walks more runner then he does. Lol

I didnt get sent the wrong breed it was an assortment of 10 chicks 2 geese and 2 ducks 2 turkies Lol

Could be a runner mix. I have a black runner girl who is, shall we say, quite buxom for a runner. But her personality is runner through and through. She is a delight!
