6 months ago today I brought home 5 one day old silkies. I know for sure that two are roos and two are hens. But little BooBoo has no gender yet. One day I think hen, next day roo. Its the comb, kinda looks like a roo, but if that's the case he's a couple months behind growth wise in that area. Can you decide ? They are all the same age. 6 months today.

I have noticed it more the last 3-4 weeks. Splash and Ping (two roos), have had their combs and been crowing for a couple months. That's why I'm sooooo confused, they are the same age, you would think I would be able to tell, like the others.

Yeah, I guess you are gong to have to wait....if he's a boy, he should eventually grow male feathering. If it s a girl,she will eventually start laying!

I know waiting is terrible.....
