I ordered them thru mypetchicken.com because they would ship out a small order. I couldn't do the 25 minimum orders that the other hatcheries had (too many - not enuff space). I think I might be pushing it a little bit w/ the 8, but we'll see! I already want to get some other breeds but will wait to see how it goes w/ the original 8! Will definately push for a bigger coop as we haven't even discussed size yet. Do I need to have a nesting box for each girl or will they share them???

re: number of nesting boxes. I've read that they will share, so one box for every 3-4 chickens? does that sound right to those with experience?
