Head banging Ducks

I started out with 12 White Pekin now I have 6 White Peking ducks, I though that a predator was killing my ducks ,but not my chickens, no marks on the ducks. I saw the other night one of the ducks beating another duck by the neck on the wood floor of the pin. I think it was a male that was doing it. They have food and water they free range with the chickens and they all sleep in a coop that is 10x20 with wood shaving on the floor.(clean enough that I could sleep there) What would cause this to happen?

How old are they? Maybe the males are fighting? @chickens really ? Do males fight that badly?

What are you feeding?

Yes they can fight badly if they don't have enough room to escape from the attacker...Possibly killing each other..

The Ducks live in a 10 x20 house with the chickens (10), They all eat the same food and drink the same water. They are 8 mo.old as of to day I do not have not had any dead ducks. They seem to be happy.

So no more dead ducks? that's a relief I am sure.
