Hear Chirping on "hatch day" is this normal?

Where did you put the fan in the incubator?

I had the little giant and I wired it to the inside next to the heating element. The page I read said to glue in place but with the heat and humidity it came off in the middle of egg incubation. there are small air holes in the top that I ran wire through.
