We've got 5 eggs left in our bator (see other thread) but what's the longest time you've had to wait for a pip? We've been hearing one chick chirping now for almost 14 hours, but no pip or break-through on the shell at all.

Anybody have any advice???

What day are you on? Pips usually happen anywhere from day 19 thru 21....Always the evenings of day 20 here for me at home...

I know you dont want to hear this but I am on day 24 with no pips. Yes they are still moving.

Trying for some porcelain d'uccles. Got one but nothing else yet. Also today is day 16 on my button quail but no quail yet.

50%-60% is best and thats hwat mine is always at for a good hatch. I guess the breed has something to do with it for me? are d'uccles hard to hatch or something?

I get my best hatches about 55% no more than 60%. Any higher and I would worry about them drowning.
