You mention Billie is on starter... what kind? Are you supplementing a niacin source?
I had a duckling get scalped by a raccoon, and in much worse starting condition... recover really well... they are hardy little buggers!
She may have some sore muscles and such... movement will probably return pretty soon. Pain is actually a good thing, it slows us down and keeps us from injuring ourselves worse. The body is using lots of energy to make repairs... so good nutrition and rest to allow for it is great!
As long as you don't see the punctures getting a deeper red and hot feeling and no puss building behind wounds.. also no flies trying to lay eggs in the wounds... then you guys are well on your way! Just keep an eye for the things I mentioned.![]()

In the Q and A...Dumor poultry 100% complete formula. 20% starter grower. Does she need grit. As soon as I run out of starter I was going to put her on the Adult formula is that good.
