I drive a car, I use plastics, I use a variety of things that require oil.
I share a portion of the blame for this.

We all do.

Those poor birds...jeez.

Proctor & Gamble has been wonderful about donating barrels of Dawn to rescuers for cleaning the critters up. God bless that company for all their help.

Those poor birds...how horrible for them but can you imagine what it is doing to the fishes and sealife?

I have never seen such graphic pictures before of what an oil spill can do. Some of those birds arent even recognisable any more. I hope they have been rescued and cleaned by now.

I wonder how the so called environmentalists who forced companies to drill offshore by their consistent opposition to drilling here on land feel now? I imagine most don't even admit that they are partially to blame.

My DH and I were talking about the spill lastnight.... we debated about how many years it will take them to clean this mess up.....(BP had a bad spill in alaska in 06 too) We both decided, it won't be done in our life time.

We're boycotting all BP gas stations.


Yes, many of us drive, and use oil and oil based products... but it's the company's decision to cut corners, and take the risks that made this mess. I won't take the blame for it.
