My daughters favorite chicken is not doing well and I can’t figure out what’s going on! She was fine this morning and a few hours later is stumbling and can’t hold her head up. I gave her a electrolytes and have put her in a cooler place since outside in the run is over 100. The other chickens are doing fine. She is about 3 months old.

Add sugar to the electrolytes. You also need to lower her body temp by placing cool wet compresses under her wings. Lay her on a damp cool towel breast in contact with the wet towel. Just have it cold as the cold water coming out of the faucet, not ice.

Continue the electrolytes and sugar water every hour or two until she seems back to normal.
