Heat Lamp Bulb Burnt Out

My bulb burnt out on my 3-4 week old chicks Dx
There are no stores open right now to get a replacement. I brought them inside the house in a tub with a towel covering about 75% of the top of the tub and have a gallon jug filled with hot water from the sink. I’m just not too sure how often I will have to replace it to keep it warm.
Anyone have any recommendations? I also have blankets around the outside of the tub also.

Only one (barred rock) has most of its feathers but not all of them. But my silkie and gold laced only have wing feathers and the start of their necks but that’s really it

Sounds like 2 to 3 weeks old, you can use a 60 watt incandescent light bulb to heat them also. The lamp needs to be a foot above the floor.

At 3-4 weeks they probably can do without it. What are the temperatures where the brooder is at? Is it inside the house, outside?

A regular light bulb (not a LED) also gives off heat so you can always swap one if if you have one, but assuming the chicks are inside the house or in some other draft free, relatively warm place they should be fine.
