oh no! i didnt know i wasnt supposed to touch it with my bare handsWhen you screwed it in, did you touch it with your bare hands? I ask because you said it was only two days in. The oils from our skin can cause a hotspot to form on the surface of the bulb. I always use gloves or a clean cloth to handle and screw the bulbs in.
To clean them, use a dry soft paper towel (like Viva), or a shop towel, or microfiber cloth. A gentle buffing motion. You don't want to scratch the surface of the bulb because that can cause temperature differentials too.
