As @Ruby Rogue said, test it before attempting with eggs.
although you can definitely put in sacrifice eggs and let them come to temp to help you fine tune it. Often things get skewed if you try it without anything in it first, because the conditions aren’t the same.

I have 12 ducks and get so many eggs a day. Ok gonna try to put in some eggs and see if they are ok

Also try not to make too many adjustments too close together. Set everything up, leave it for 8-12 or even 24 hours, and adjust slightly as needed from there. Have to let everything equalize before you know where it’s going to stay.
