Heat Lamps

Sometimes you have to buy the expensive ones! But if you searched on the app LSN (it is an app that people sell stuff) I am sure they will have some cheap heat lamps on there!! Good luck!:D

If you buy a heat lamp bulb, be sure it is not teflon coated (shatter resistant). Those off gas teflon which is toxic to birds. If brooding in your house, you only need 100 watts. and your brooder should be 2 s.f./bird to allow enough room for the necessary temperature gradient.

Can anybody help me out and list some links to cheap but reliable heat lamps? All the ones I've found are very pricey!
Are you located within or outside the us? This may help to explain the disparity between your difficulty finding an affordable lamp and the ready availability of them at retailers noted by previous replies.
