I guess some of the chickens love the mister a bit too much-one of my silkies was soaked tonight!

I'm completely heartbroken! I just found my favorite little girl dead in the corner of the coop, obviously trying to seek some sort of relief from the heat. I didn't even realize it was this hot! My three Rhode Island Reds are doing ok, they have a second level to their coop that they can climb under and stay a little cooler but I think I'll go put some ice in their water.

I lost two coronation sussex this past week. I guess they were too heavy and hot for triple digit temps we have been having.
