With this heat wave that is hitting some try this. Put a watermelon in the fridge until it is cold. Cut off a hunk and give it to your chickens. Do this with all your scraps. This will help to lower the body temp. Just the opposite of getting them hot food in the winter. Change the water every change you get.
 
I gave mine some cooked cold rice and a bit of cold milk mixed and they loved it.
 
Mine love some yogurt... I give them some from the fridge around 6-7 pm... wonderful cool down snack before time to roost for the night.
 
My gosh! I just had to tell you all that it is SNOWING here!! I just had to go turn the heat on in the coop. Its 33 degrees here. Even with the heat lamp the youngins were getting a little chilly! The big girls however came out their door and are standing in the snow! Wha a site!

Take care with that heat! I would be worried about my chickens too!
