Think DRY not warm. Dry and basic wind protection is what you need. Good ventilation is very important. Took me years to get this concept. The problem with heat, is to trap the heat, we close up the coop...what we trap is moisture.

Turn off the lights, and open the vents, they will be fine. I am in SD, and we get down to -33 degrees.

In each of my coops I have the flat panel heaters. They throw off just enough heat for them to be comfortable. It’s not crazy hot either so they sometimes will cuddle right up to it and hang out.. basically it’s just enough to keep the crazy chill out of the coop. It doesn’t keep it warm and toasty inside by any means..
