Heated Waterer Isn't Working

I got a heated waterer on Christmas, and it doesn't work. When I first got it, it worked occasionally, but now it doesn't work at all. It is freezing in the same time as my none heated waterer is freezing.

Yes. I have a phone charger with a light on it that I use to check the extension cord. The light always comes on.

So you plugged the heater in the charger?

No. I plug the charger into the extension cord to make sure power is coming through it. When the light comes on, I unplug it and plug the waterer into the extension cord.

Ah. I think the heater itself isn't getting power. In terms of, some wires could be broken inside.

Yeah mine didnt work at first but then i left it plugged in for a week and it started working.
