Oh what fun! Is it okay if I share a couple of pictures? If so, here are a couple... This is Emily Bennett (aka Merlie), she is 11 months old and sitting on her first clutch of 6 eggs. Today is her 14th day of incubation. I cannot wait till they hatch! (hopefully!) So far, this is my favourite picture! I have 49 chickens (counting chickens, hens roosters, and chicks) my friends all say that I go beyond obsessed. What a wonderful obsession though! My parents say that they will run me dry, but I know that if this is something that is meant to be, the LORD with provide!
I FINALLY MADE A BREAKTHROUGH IN THE LEGHORN SUSSEX CASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! e e
Leghorn on the left, Sussex on the right. There are at least five Sussex in this batch.
At the moment looks like to boys and three girls in that batch, I don't see any of the week youngers looking roosterish at the moment there's four of those.

A little bit of fighting amoungst themsevles is ok, just a pecking order but since we have my niece and nephew running around we can't risk human aggression.
