I need some advice. There's this "Australorp" and she has white runny poop but she seems to have a hard time going but she goes often, like every 5 minutes and when she does she squats and makes this sort of trilling noise and now she's not acting very active. Do you think she might be constipated?

Sounds a lot like Lucy. Once we kept pro biotics in their water consistently, she cleared up pretty quick.

Is that dried poo on her belly? I don't think that it is constipation, looks more like worms or something. Is it just white? Separate her from the others, give electrolytes and/or ACV in water. Clean off her bum.

That's a good idea, too. I don't usually think of probiotics since that's not something I can easily find/use here. :/

Yeah, I've been cleaning her off but it just keeps coming. Yes, it's just white runny poo. Ok.

I do ACV and the brand of probiotics from our local feed store for stuff like this. :/ Worms are a definite possibility, especially with hatchery chicks...

I'd put wormer in their feed but we're out of the stuff we use, all I have at the moment is DE.

I've done DE for chicks with intestinal problems before; it suffices for me, although the results are nothing like that of a probiotic or ACV....
