Instructions on a band-aid hobble for weak or lame chicks: You'll need to hobble the legs together and 're-train' them to stay that way. The tools you need are simple. 1 band aid and a pair of scissors. First, cut the band aid lengthwise. I do it while it's still in the package. Pull out the split band aid and peel the tab off 1 end.Wrap the band-aid around 1 leg, fastening it to itself. Do this again for the other leg. It will look like the picture above.
When both legs are done, the chico can now stand. Take this hobble off in 24 hours and the chick should be able to stand on it's own.
It is SUPER important that you do this as soon as possible! If you wait, it will take longer to fix.....you may have to leave the hobble on for a few days. If you wait too long, the leg will twist and just won't got back no matter what you do. I've had about a 95% success rate using this method. I hope it works for you too!

But if the chick doesn't seem to have a direct problem with its legs, and seems to be unbalanced, there's an underlying disease at work...
I'm researching as much as I can. :)

Let me rephrase, it can't balance.

Oh oh oh oh oh, one time Tiger and Elizabeak pretty much couldn't walk. They both were fine otherwise (Lizie even laid an egg!) And it ended in like 24 hours.

Adult chickens, but it rung a bell... And then it could be whatever injury Arrow had..... :fl no, no..... :fl

I've never had a chick with something this wrongf with it (besides Beth), so I don't really know.... :hu
