HEEEELLLLP!!! Bator not coming up to temp after removing egg turner !

I have 2 LG so that I can transfer eggs for hatching to the 2nd one. The LG is really tricky, and I don't like to make adjustments once it's set at the right temp. If I have tons of eggs, I don't use a turner, I hand turn. I use a towel on top of the bator at night so that if the house temp dips, the egg temp doesn't dip as much.

This one actually keeps temp well when I had the turner in it.

I must be getting good at using the knob because I only had to move it once last night and it kept the temp

Also, remember that the reading should be done at the top of the eggs. It will read significantly lower on the wire....

Sorry I should have added that I put an upside down tea dish in there to raise the thermometer to the top of the eggs.
