HEEELLPP!! Emergency!!

my rooster does not have any cuts, it has a large poop clot on its vent, so the flies layed maggots in his vent area. Is that less harmful and fatal than if he had a cut in that area? Because there is no cut or anything. It is just kind of brown in that area because of the poop stain.

We have the rooster in a dog carrier, and last night I noticed that there were 20 or 30 maggots in his but, but this morning he would start clucking slightly, and he turned himself around in his carrier! He probably still has maggots in his butt, but I think removing the poop off of his butt really helped. Even with this sign slight recovery, should I still should get antibiotics, probiotics, and electrolyets, and use a tweezer to take the maggots out of his butt? We love our rooster, but not that much to take him to the vet or buy very expensive antibiotics, just hydrogen peroxide. Will Dabbing neosporin on his but help?

Is it bad if maggots crawl into the chickens butt? It is so gross to watch, but I think that it may have happened. Can the maggots know that they are about to be picked out? Because last night there were a ton of maggots in his bum area, and when I went out there this morning to take the maggots out with tweezers, there were not as many there. If the maggots do crawl into his vent hole, will they be pooped out with his next poop? Also, is it okay to feed the rooster the maggots that I am picking out of his butt, or to the other hens? Thanks.

P.S. How do I get the tiny maggots out of his but, like the half centimeter ones?

Okay here's the thing. Once maggots get into the vent, the rooster usually doesn't make it without vet care. If you cannot get him antibiotics or to a vet, just put him out of his misery. Don't feed the maggots to anyone, you don't want a live maggot stuck in a chicken's stomach. Please consider euthanizing if you cannot afford a vet.
