Haha well I only have 3 chickens. He's with one right now but its not helping. He's only calm when I'm with him and I don't have time to sit there all the time because I'm way behind on work from all this. *sigh*
This is my first time to this website tonight and this is the first thread I read and I must say I am so happy Peanut is well and hooked on Peanut already.
I was hoping for a happy ending and glad it had one. He is such a pretty Rooster and I never knew there were white fluffy ones. He is almost like a cat. You really went all out helping Peanut and you are one great Rooster Mommy.
Glad to see Peanut is on the mend and roosting his little heart out. Now you can all rest. Well, as long as Peanut is sleeping you can.
My son comes up to me as I am checking up on Peanut and asks what your chicken looks like, so I find a picture you have posted and my son immediately says, "Mommy, I know what I am asking Santa for!!!!"
I told him we'd check into it during the spring since we are in the middle of building a new home and fenced in area for what we have now. I am so glad Peanut is doing good.
Soooo pleased to see Peanut is well on the road to recovery he is one fine looking roo you really showed your dedication and love for him, i hope i never have to do the same
but should i have to Peanut will remind me not to give up that anything is possible if you try hard enough.
Sorry no ideas about stopping him crowing
only can suggest its his way of shouting to the world what a great chicken momma you are
