Height of coop?

Hmmmm.... I'm in the middle of planning my chicken coop, and I realized I have no idea how tall it should be!

How much height should chickens be given? I'll have four, in a 4x4 coop. I'm building my own, and I don't need to walk into it, so it could literally be any height.

Is there a formula for height like there is for the floor?

I made mine tall enough so I wouldn't have to stoop, the chickens roost on a 2x4 hung about 2feet from the top.

yeah don't make the mistake I did, I made an A frame coop and i have to bend over to get in it and stay bent over cause I can't stand up ahhh, I want to build another one but hubby says not yet.
