Helen is a what?

She looks exactly like my Cloud, who is a silkie/sultan cross. I have never figured out where the pattern comes from, but I know for sure which birds are her parents.

She definitely sporting a big tail. She's beautiful. I'd love to pick a chicken up like that, but I'd be panicky over introducing anything to the others. It's also not very easy to quarantine in my tiny back garden.

It is really too funny that you got her at the shelter based on a "smart" comment. You getting Helen was obviously meant to be. It warms my heart to hear this story. Thanks for taking her in!

Thanks All! I'll try to get some more pics of her on here. That one really doesn't do her justice. I goofed my back up yesterday while out cleaning the barn. All I picked up was a small piece of plywood and BAM! I'm on the feel good pills right now so in a few days maybe I can pick up that heavy camera.
