Re-joining after over 4 years. Used to have chickens in California before moving to the Big Island. Incubating eggs to start a small flock. Kids home from school for obvious reasons, thought it would be a fun educational experience! Also not bad to have a food source, you never know.
Happy to be back, had a different user name before, but I do not recall what it was. Already reaping the benefits of this wonderful community, reading up on coops, incubators, chicken breeds, incubation methods, humidity control and so on and so on. Already learned all about chicken math "well there 's room in the incubator, may as well get some more eggs, got extra eggs with orders, HAVE to try and hatch them as well!" Will likely have extra chicks to sell if they all hatch (not counting them though, as you know you can't count your chickens...)
Blessing to all on this site, may you all stay healthy and safe!
