Skip and I have dreamed about having our own place and homesteading it for the last 17 years and are so glad we've finally made it. My poor granny tells everyone that we have nothing and she's never seen us happier! Bless her heart but she just doesn't get it. We're no longer paying for something that we'll never own, we have neighbors but they're not right on top of us, no security lights so the stars on a clear night are absolutely amazing and once we got moved out here we've done things for ourselves...that's the best feeling in the world!!!
