I had joined sometime within the last year and just kept seriously slacking on posting anything with moving around and other life things.

I copied the sample questions for an idea on how to continue this... I ramble a lot so focus is hard.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
No I'm not new really to chickens, although I haven't had my own flock in some time and I'm doing mostly research and planning for when I move into a house and can start my chicken hoarding. My family has had chickens, from my great grandmother, cousin, father, and I even managed to talk a household I lived with into chickens along with a few neighbors.
My cousin had a solo RIR one year and since I was staying with her it became my pet. She was like a fluffy puppy, wanted to sit in laps or on shoulders. Her name was Piglet. She has since passed, and my patience for waiting on chickens is severely thin!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None, and it's lame. My future focus breeds are Giants, Serama, Oshamo, OEGB, and for my future husband, I'm suppose to get some breed of turkey and a longtail breed.
Right now I'm really pining over the Serama. (Particularly if I can find a rumpless frizzled, they're so cute!)

(3) What breeds do you have?
See above?

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Internet... fun fun?

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Hiking, artsy stuff...

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a cat, Finn the nearly human, he's so blonde he's my skin color and he has (poly-dactyl) thumbs. He also likes chickens, and when I was living at the last house and they got chickens he kept curling up with the older four hens, but the tiny younger bantams beat him up. I'm hoping he gets along with any other flocks in the future. He hasn't tried to eat anyone other than squirrels.

I'll be marrying sometime in the next year. My occupation is merely independent things since the job market hasn't been fruitful for me. I'm hoping to be able to buy some small property for a tiny house soon.

My health isn't the best so sometimes I lapse in being online. It rarely stops me from going outside tho.

I have been designing and working out the kinks on various chicken coops and plans. The biggest flaw was something could look cool and then originally I had no carpentry knowledge on how it would be put together. I'm studiously remedying that.
