TwoCrows its the underworld of deming that makes it badddd. You have to know the hiistory to understand. Lots of drugs and gangs. The mexican cartels are quite prevelant as well and yes not to mention the dryyyy heat. And the wind is unbearable. Reserve was awesome for the landscaape weather wildlife etc.. but if you aren't well off you can barely survive. If you can afford it and you can avoid the local gossip drama and the bored law enforcement issues its an awesome place. I hear ruidoso area is nice but needed to get out of nm for awhile and try otther states lol. So far we like arizona very much we shall see.
