I just joined a bit ago and I am excited.
I have been wanting to get some backyard hens for over a year now. I feel I have finally found a place where I can learn enough to provide good care & husbandry.
Does anyone know where I can find young adult/adult sexed Seremas anywhere around north Texas or Southern Oklahoma?I must get females only, as roos are illegal in the city limits. I cannot raise a chick, fall in love with it, only to find out it's a rooster and then try to part with it. I want to do things right and not cause any problems for other chicken keepers in my area. Please advise. I only want 3-4 to start with.
Thanks,
Bailey
