Hello all!!! New to BYC and trying to figure out this website to be able to get around in here first of all. But to my introduction, I am Lorie Jackson and live in Tuttle, Oklahoma.
I was given some Serama chickens and other bantams from my sister, who lives in Georgia.
Since then, this past September, I have fell in love with my lil chickens and decided that I needed more. And to learn more about them. My husband has raised chickens since he was 12 yrs old. He is now 51. But he never had bantams. So now we are enjoying our little birds.

Hi Lorie, it's nice to have you here with us!

Glad to hear you're enjoying you little birds, they do have a way of getting to a person. Before you add more, I suggest you read up on isolation and integration so increasing the size of your flock can go as well as possible. Just use the search function and you'll find a lot of both topics. This link will get you started:
Adding To Your Flock

Best wishes to you, thanks for joining us!
