Hopefully you're just wanting them as pets and you're not really wanting them for their egg laying abilities.

Silkies are not known for laying many eggs.
Silkies are known for going broody.
Breaking broodys gets old quick.

I highly recommend you think about another breed if you are wanting lots of eggs.

Maybe just one silkie, just because they're so cute! Rhode Island Reds and Leghorns lay their butts off and definitely earn their keep with eggs!
