Just joining after finding myself here often for random tidbits of help.
Live in Massachusetts and recently got our first chickens. We have three ~1 week old Rhode Island Reds, and two ~8 week old mixed breed chickens. Based on the list of breeds the place we got them has, I suspect one is mostly Barred Rock/Black Australorp and the other Delaware (though it looks more like a leghorn from photos I've seen on here.) All were unsexed when we got them, and I plan to share some photos of the older two soon on the appropriate thread to try to confirm if they're pullets or cockerels.
