Hello! I am new to chickens on the web but I've had chickens since I was 11. My grandmother kept between 100-200 Rhode Island Reds free range and some of my fondest memories as a child include those hens. I was always extremely involved in 4H as well, with my hens. I've moved out now, gotten married and had children of my own and I find that chickens are the only thing I'm missing now to have my own little heaven here in southern Georgia! My husband and I are planning on getting our own little flock (of 10. I'm in city limits so 10 is the maximum I'm allowed to keep) in the Spring! I look forward to being here and learning from you all.
