This is what makes me suspicious, that is was empty and now it's not. If the mineral oil doesn't work, you may need to use an anti yeast medication. Try the oil first.No but I can get some! Seems strange that yesterday morning it was completely empty ! I guess it’s just keeping an eye

So- fullishcrop this morning- yogurt this morning with the oil also and she’s well enough in her self and eating/drinking! Crop felt half the size when she went to bed! Will keep it going for a few days then take to the vet if not improving! Haven’t vomited her again but if you think I should then I’ll have to !
Hey there. My girls crop was empty this morning and she seems to be eating and drinking ok by had spurts of tiredness. She’s lost so much weight that in so worried! What do you suggest? X
Great that the crop seems to be working normally! Keep checking it each morning for a while just in case.
I had some cooked rice and just gave to the girls and she went mad eating! Going to give her some scrambled egg also! She’s had her oil and yogurt . So I will keep doing this? And checking. I’ll let you lnow

Keep up all the lovin' on her! Chickens don't gain weight too awful fast, but keep it up for a month and she should plump up.I had some cooked rice and just gave to the girls and she went mad eating! It’s so strange because she’s Always pecking the ground rather than her hopper( although she does sometimes- but seems to like the grit bits! Although as soon as I threw the rice in she went crazy eating! So one minute she looks really poorly and the next nothing seems to be up! I am so concerned about her though as give her lots of fuss and attention. I just hope I am doing the right thing as she’s so young ! Tonight when I put the other girls to bed they all had massively full crops but she didn’t. And I also find they eat like gannets but she’s more gentle ( apart from the rice that she scoffed) do you think she may have a much worse problem?
