Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

This is my OEGB she is a brown red and the cutest chicken I have ever hade

Trying to figure out the sex on this chick. It's 8 wks. old.

My hubby grabbed an OEGB when he went to pick up a couple of EE chicks for me from a friend, because I wasn't feeling well enough to make the trip (I'm disabled and it's a long ride). He thought it was cute and so he brought it home.

It's a silver duckwing.

Thing is, I don't know if this is a pullet or cockerel. Color says pullet (I think), comb says cockerel. It barely has wattles though...just very tiny ones.

Please bear with me... I know the pics are blurry. It's a new camera and obviously we need to adjust the settings. If it's too blurry to make out, let me know and we'll see what we can do about the camera.

Trying to show it's coloring here...

Showing comb size...

Trying to show back coloring and feathering...

As I said, I know these pictures suck. I don't have the equipment to hook my cell phone to the computer, so that's out, but either we can try adjusting this camera (it's a new camera and took good pics before, so don't know what the issue is). Push comes to shove we can try using our tablet or my husband's cell (he's not used it for pics yet 'cause he just got it, but we'll see how it does).

If you guys need me to retake these pics, let me know and I will. Guess I'm just in a hurry to figure out what sex this baby is 'cause I've fallen in love with it. It's so sweet. It runs out of the brooder to me and flies up on my shoulder. I've never heard it crow either (the brooder is in the back of the house and we can hear them well).

Thanks for your time.
