Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

Most likely a Blue Red Sport, meaning the splash version of a blue breasted red (BB Red with Blue)

sick of you guys yank birds, [nah just kidden] but here are some proper oegb

That's probably proper because that's where the breed originated, but they sure grow them different here. The thing that sticks out at me is the tail. The tails on the OE's in the US (at least the show quality ones) are way fuller. Even the hens and pullets really need a spread tail to even hope to place at a show.

ok im lookin to order some OEGBs.... i wish to make lemon blues.... i know they are a cross of 2 colors i just dont remember which they were?can someone pls help me?

Hello, We received our first OEGB pair about 2 months ago and love their curious, confident, outgoing personalities! We were told our rooster & hen were red pyle in color, but I haven't been able to locate any pictures of red pyle roosters with black tail feathers. (Or maybe he IS red pyle and just not show-worthy. It's ok though, their our pets and we love them!) Could you folks kindly help us identify their color? :) Thank you so much!
He is a Blue Wheaten Sport
