Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

it would be depending on the quality of the parents, i do know its one of the hardest OE colors to perfect. i think disqualifications would be white earlobes, undubbed combs in males, and off colors in the breast.

He is still a chick so it is hard to tell what he will look like.

Here he is. What color do you think he will be?

Can y'all critique my Lemon Blue hen. She is two years old or older. Her tell feathers got broken off.

I have a 5 month old pullet, too. She was hatchery stock but my hen up above is from a breeder. I will have to get a picture of my pullet.

Can't tell much about type with you holding her but she's not a Lemon Blue. Don't see any lemon colour in her neck feathers.

I asked people on this forum and all around what color she was and they said lemon blue. She even matches the picture in my book.

She is a little over two and she hasn't molted this year either. So she's kinda been bleached out a little.
