I'm a little disappointed. Just threw out four of seven eggs that I put in the incubator. Only one is growing good. I'm leaving the other two in there to see what happens.

That's a bummer. Was it fertility that was the issue? Or did they just quit on you?

I have a questions and it might sound stupid, but I bought a quad of Silver Duckwing OEGB's, I just hatched 6 of their eggs and can the male/females be determined by color.  The reason I ask is that some of the chicks are lighter in color and the others ar darker chipmunk colors.  Thanks for any answers.  Again sorry if this is a silly question.

Yes the girls are darker for the most part and have eyeliner stripe the boys don't...usually

Any ideas on color and sex of these little month olds? The black has a little rust color on the ends of her feathers.

Both hens. The top looks like a BBred, and the bottom could be a brown red, though I'm not familiar with that variety.
