Hello BYC

Hello everyone. We started a small flock of 4 Golden Comets in April 2020 and couldn't be happier. We have custody of two of our grandchildren and they love helping to tend the flock. Its a good way to help instill responsibility in something other than Legos 😁. I found BYC when I searched for some answers to chick raising questions and decided to finally join the club. Looking forward to learning more about raising chickens.
WELCOME to BYC.
Its so much fun reading and learning from others that are literally from all over the world.

You came here to learn from us?.. :lau :gig:lol: I'm kidding.

We're heading into week 16. So maybe 2-4 weeks? Its hard to say. Everyone seems to have a different estimate for when Golden Comets start to lay.
Point of lay is variable by breed. They will be earlier than others though. Early POL is usually 18 to 22 weeks old.
